The Zulu Warriors

That was the story of how humans were created, why they are mortal and why the chameleon changes it's color; to hide from what the shame of it's actions caused.
The faster lizard delivered the message to the village and by the time the chameleon caught up, people were already dying from the effect of Unkulunkulu's words.
It took the chameleon too long to deliver the message of immortality to the humans, Unkulunkulu got irritatated because he thought that the humans weren't thankful for his gift. He sent another lizard bearing the message; "Humans will die". This lizard however was faster than the chameleon and it quickly caught up and overtook the indolent Chameleon.
Origin of the Zulu Clan
He started picking other people that were growing, off the reeds. Humans, cattle, wild animals, fish, and other natural animals and plants were plucked too. Once everything was picked, he started teaching them their names and and the names of others, he also taught them how to make fire and hunt. Finally as a final gift Unkulunkulu sent a chameleon with the message that humans would never die.

A very long time ago in Southern Africa, there was only darkness and a giant seed. This seed sank into the ground of a dark swamp. From That large seed reeds grew and sprouted all over the earth. These reeds were called Uthlanga. The reed soon grew a god named Unkulunkulu.
