First Stop
The ropes linking each train cart to each other are made out of many Twizzlers twisted together. The ropes connecting the cart are like ribosomes that produces proteins by combining. The Twizzlers that make up the links are like nucleolus that make ribsosomes.
The Animal Cell Amusment Park
When you arrive at the amusement park please stop at the Main office to by your tickets. Bring this flyer for a 50% off discount. The main office operates and oversees everything that goes on insides, such ass the nucleus of a cell directs all cell actions.
As we make our way out of the amusement park from your cell-tastic day we would like to say thank you the maintenance crew. They work to maintain the shape and sanitation of the park such as a cytoskeleton does in a cell.
As we slide through the snake we will stop in the stomach. The snake's stomach is similar to a vacuole because they both store food, water, waste...etc. Caution: There will be fruit punch falling from the ceiling representing stomach acid. The acid in the stomach is similar to Lysosome in cells because they both break down materials.
The first ride that we will be getting on is the slithering snake. Once we're all seated you will hear a rumbling noise. That is the motor of the machine generating energy for it to operate like a mitochondria produces most of the cell energy. When it is ready to fire up the operator will lift the box over the green start button. The box is there to prevent the machine from running when it is not ready. The cytoplasm in a cell is similar because it's a gel like fluid that protects the organelles.
Second Stop
After you buy your tickets head to the door with the big red exit sign on the right. There will be metal detectors over the door so make sure your not wearing any heavy metal. The metal detectors are there to monitor everything that comes in and out of the park. The Cell membrane does the same thing by protecting the cell to filter what comes in and out.
Fourth Stop
Next we will go on a train that circles the amusement park and transports passengers to different rides. The train is like an Endoplasmic Reticulum because they both carry and transport stuff to different places.
While in the train we will go through a narrow dark tunnel. Then there will be a saw to split each train cart in half that go in opposite directions. The saw represents centriole that separates chromosome pairs.
Fifth Stop
Sixth Stop
The 2 parts of your cart will then meet again in time for the tour to get off onto a flat escalator that will transport us to our next cite. The escalator is like a Golgi body that receives materials from the ER(train) and distributes it.
After the tour there will be time to stop at the food court and enjoy the new food we have incorporated. Stop at McDonalds for a Mc.Cell or Starbucks for a Pumpkin Cell Later.
