  • Making a fool of yourself may be embarrassing; however, it is not seen as a bad thing. It shows that you are being yourself.
  • Some individuals even pretend that they are drunk, so they can speak their mind openly.
  • If you want to make Japanese friends, drink with them and get drunk!!!

  • In the 1870s, Norwegian-American businessman established the first brewery in Yokohama, Japan. This is known as today's Kirin.
  • In 1876, Hokkaido's first brewery was established by Nagakawa Seibei which gave birth to the first Sapporo Lager.
