1. Determine how you spend a 24-hour day?
How do you spend a 168-hour week?
Journal: Make a list!
Review, reflect and pair/share for feedback!
2. Create a self-discipline log
in your journal.
Record start and end times
for priority tasks for the day and
then for the week.
Self reflect and discuss
priorities with small group.
3. Manage stress through
organizing tasks.
Break the task down and
rearrange based on priority
or completion date.
Evaluate organization of
tasks to determine if can develop
into a habit through peer review.
A journal for logging and listing can be a valuable tool
to create a time management plan. Prioritize activities and
realize what is important and what is not important in how
you spend your 24 hours a day, 168 hours a week!
Do not be put off by the challenge, if you slip, take a break and refresh the challenge!
Reflection and evaluation of instructor:
1. Ticket out the door with participants: state one
tool to take away for better time mangement.
2. Follow up contact with participants to check
on progress.
3. Time management is a key to life balance and
career success.
