Menelaus

Menelaus was the king of Sparta. He is the younger brother of Agamemnon. He is the husband of Helen, daughter of Zeus. When Helen is abducted by Paris of Troy, Menelaus and Agamemnon both set out to bring her back. This is the cause of the Trojan War. (http://www.britannica.com/topic/Menelaus-Greek-mythology)

Duties in the Trojan War

Menelaus and Agamemnon both had special duties they had to do in the Trojan War. Menelaus did not have a major job in the whole war. He only killed 8 people. Menelaus had a single combat with Paris from Troy, which resulted in Paris losing. Agamemnon he assembled 100 fleets and led the Greek forces.
