from this video hopefully you learned a lot in 3 1/2 minutes... but without Europe's history we wouldn't be where we are today. its important for students to know that all history in our textbook has a valid reason for being there. Just Becuase there is more Europe history does not mean its not important history.

What is Eurocentrism?

The definition of Eurocentrism is that Europe is more important than any other continent.

Our textbook is not Eurocentric becuase there is a lot of history that happened in Europe and to leave that out would be leaving out a little more than half of our world history

Level 1: Non-Western history is irrelavent

Level 2: Non-western history doesn't matter

Level 3: Non- western history is some what important

level 4: Non- western history is not needed

level 5: Non- western history is challenging and a disgrace
