Day 3

Today we are going on a safari, we will drive to kruger park and stay our first night there.

There is a lot of things to do in Mpumalanga. If we want to can we see many differents things like,

along Panoramaroute there it is beautiful view points.

After we have landed in Johannesburg we pick out our car and drive on the highway to Waterval Boven. We live in simple bungalows near kruger park.

We live in bungalows or in smaller houses.

Moholoholo is not just a camp for turists, it is also an animal hospital were they take care of injured wild animals.

After breakfast we are going to drive towards our next stay. Along the road we are enjoying an exciting safari.

Today we travel from Copenhagen to South Africa

The big five stands for five big animals that lives in the African deserts. The animals that includes in The Big Five are lions, elephants, buffalo, leopard and white/black rhinoceros.

Today we are leaving the kruger park

and we will be driving to Johannesburg there we take a flight to Capetown towards the evening.

While we are in Capetown are we staying at Inn on the square

South Africa is located in Africa, by the most southern point. Bordering countries are Lesotho, Swaziland, Namibia and Mozambique. Afrika have four seasons. In the summer is the average 20- 30 degrees, In the winter is the average 7-10 degrees, in the autumn is it between 10-15 degrees and in the spring is it 15-20 degrees.

Cape town

Cape town is the capital of south africa. Cape town is also called Mother City, and is the second largest city. There is 3,5 millions inhabitant in Cape town.

These days we can do whatever we want to do.

There is alot of things to see and do in Capetown,

for example we can visit diffrent beaches, visit robben island, go shopping and go on a funicular railway up to tabel mountain.

Robben island

Robben island have been a prison island for many occasions and are famous because there have been black and colored opponets that have there. Nelson Mandela have been prisoned there. Today is the island a popular turist attractions.

During the 1940s , introduced something who would be called apartheid , apartheid means putting laws specific to white and non-white. Different neighborhoods with 10,000 's of people were forcibly moved so they could draw zones, so that white and non-white people would´nt be together. White and non-White did not ride the same buses, sit on the park benches or stay in the same area . Everything was divided as white had their own schools, their own restaurants and even own trains. In 1994, Nelson Mandela was elected president , he was elected in democratic elections and it was then apartheid disappeared.

Nelson Mandela was the countries first president.

His government focused on the human right. He was sentenced to a life in prison. He spent 27 years in prison at Robben island.
