- opening sentence is not very helpful
- Concept is not explained or expanded
- The analytical emphasis begins to go off topic in the fifth paragraph
- Language planning policies are not clear
- Wrong use of vocabulary
Strengths
Introduction:
- Relevant issues were linked with a wider study of the topic by means of a discursive approach taken by the candidate.
- detailed examination of the language used throughout
- content, style and tone are all included within the first paragraph.
- Linguistic details are paid special attention to.
- Insightful analysis of the language is taken.
The main reason why we chose to break down the level C example candidate response:
- It has many strengths, weakness, as well as new terminology that helps us to know what to do and what not to do when we take the exam.
