Officials said that the cockpit voice and data recorders have been badly damaged and are unlikely to reveal much data.

However, leaked FlyDubai recorder revealed that the last minutes had been full of arguments and screams of terror as the pilots were allegedly unable to manage the landing.

Weather conditions:

The IAC reported that no onboard system malfunctions, aircraft components’ defects or power system failures were found. The aircraft registered A6-FDN had a valid airworthiness certificate, had passed the necessary maintenance procedures and was fully operational at the time of departure.

What happened?

On March 19th 2016

Former and current pilots of FlyDubai airline state that they are treated with negligence and the time that the pilot spends at work is underestimated. This leads to increased workloads and pilot fatigue.

Investigators are currently considering three main theories as to the cause of the crash: technical failure, severe weather conditions and pilot error.

55 passengers and seven crew members on board were killed in the crash near Rostov-on-Don airport after holding for 2 hours then missing the runway.
