Geothermal is a energy source
the has advantages for uses.
This heat can
warm water and rocks . Without taking
lava.
Geothermal energy is renewable
energy and it produces heat all the
time.
Geothermal energy provides
very little energy(0.2%), mostly
for heating and and cooling building.
Geothermal comes from the
Greek words Geo(earth) and
thermal(heat).
We heat house by pumping
up heat sometimes.
Geothermal energy is everywhere
underground!
Geothermal is healthy and inexpensive
to the enviroment so it does no harm
to rivers.
Once you install a geothermal
system, it's free cooling and
heating.
Geothermal takes
little land to make
a geothermal power
plant
Now here is a
movie about advanteges
of geothermal energy.
Low temputure
is found everywhere
in the U.S just a few
feet underground.
Scientist are trying
to harness the volcano's
geothermal energy
There are
different types
of geothermal
plants.
There are flash steam pipes and dry streams
but there is still more.
Here are facts about
geothermal energy (which
is good nor bad).
Plants are
expensive
to build but
the steam is
cheap.
Geothermal energy can
contain poisonious gases.
The hot water we use
will be replaced by rain
The U.S is the largest geothermal energy producer.
This following info is on another website
link:http://www.eia.gov/kids/energy.cfm?page=geothermal_home-basics
Geothermal energy is generated from
the core of the Earth.
Here is a movie about Geothermal.
Here are advanteges of
Ethanol.
Ethonal is a alchol fuel
made by fermeting the
sugars and grains
Etanol is a
renewable energy
sources.
The uses of ethanol
provides new markets
for U.S agriculture.
Since ethanol is oxegen, adding
it to reduces ozes.
Light Waves
The sun is the source, or origin, of
most of the energy on Earth
The sun gives us light and heat.
Light is a type of energy and moves.
Light passes through transparent objects.
Very little light passes through opaque objects.
The only part of electromagnetic
spetrum that we see are the visible
light rays
White light is made from all the colors in the rainbow
(ROY G. BIV)
Each color has a different
wavelength and frequency.
The color we see from an object is the
color that object reflects. It asorbs all
colors of the rainbows.
White objects reflect all colors
Black objects asorb all colors
The energy comes from what we eat .
It can also cause chemical energy in your
body that make energy for you.
The energy for Earth comes in waves of
energy to use also bring light.
The fastest thing in the universe is light
Light is a waved energy traveled to Earth
Belive it or not that light is not a
form of energy.
Light is the fastest thing in
the universe so you see lightning
before you hear thunder.
Now I will show a chart of colors
with nanometers with it.
Red: 700 nm.
Orange: 620 nm.
Yellow: 580 nm
Green: 530 nm.
Blue: 475 nm.
Violet: 400 nm.
Black light that is reflected turns into heat.
White is a mixture of
all colors.
Here is a movie about
the system.
Crayons reflect all colors.
Prisims turn white light to a rainbow
like the backround of this presitation.
Light is what make
us see and live, work
always be thankful
to the main, the sun.
We only see
a portain of the
system but still we
see it.
Our Solar Water Heater
Project. Our project was
using the sun's heat
energy. We reflected the
sun's heat energy. The
asorbtion's were a primary thing for the heat for us.
My prototype was unsuccsussesful. It was first 82 F
then 80 F. I know the black paper helped but
something different didn't.
Ryan's Solar Water Heater
Crayons are awesome

LOL
Even though geothermal has many advantages, this energy source has disadvantages.
Sometimes this heat
comes near the surface
We can make electricity with geothermal energy
I am A Stalker!!!!!!
I will kill you
XD
Geothermal
Quick Dictonary
Nanometer: a billionth of a meter
Used in the metric system
Geothermal Energy is not a green house
gas so it is a clean energy
source.
Most geothermal
energy is in the west coast of Hawaii
lol
lol
crest
wavelegnth
trought
The wavelegnth is the distence between crests
As the wavelenght increases, the frequency decreases
As the wavelenght decreases,
the frequency increases
Frequency is the number of crests that
pass a certain point in one second
