We are currently seeking a Senior Director – Solutions Delivery.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Providing leadership to Information Technology Solutions Delivery area including Project Management, Portfolio Management and Quality Assurance
Providing direction, guidance and leadership within this multi-disciplined group of system professionals as well as coordination with the rest of the ITS Department leadership and Business Partners throughout the TTC
Directing the development, implementation and support of business solutions that improve value to the business and the end-to-end customer experience
In collaboration with Business Partner, ensuring goals, objectives, strategies and priorities are defined and delivered
Managing the delivery of the Capital Program and Operating activities
Representing IT Services as the senior leader at all steering committee meetings
Representing IT Services as the senior leader at all steering committee meetings
Responsible for providing leadership in overseeing the work of Group and/or Department staff (either directly or through direct reports) ensuring that accessibility/accommodation needs of TTC passengers and/or employees are effectively met in a timely fashion in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and Related Orders so that they can fully benefit from the TTC as a service-provider and an employer
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
University degree in Computer Science, Business or other relevant discipline, or the equivalent, combined with several years of progressive experience in solution delivery leadership positions such as Project/Program Management, Application Development and Support Management or related experience
Strong Business Relationship Management skills as well as strong management skills to lead by example and manage the development of processes and procedures requiring the support and buy-in from others
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills; above average organizational and problem solving ability to manage ITS relations with Department Heads and Executive Team
Extensive knowledge of IT and business strategy with specific experience related to developing plans to drive solutions towards stated business strategy and goals
Demonstrated skills in leading complex projects to successful completion including a detailed understanding of methodologies related to solution development and quality management
Detailed understanding of industry standard Key Performance Indicators and drivers for IT solutions delivery, and ability to implement and manage them is critical
Experience with detailed budgets management, development of project plans and risk management
Demonstrated ability to effectively motivate and lead staff and provide senior leadership to steering committees
Must have or rapidly acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the Ontario Human Rights Code and Related Orders including disability accommodation and accessibility requirements pertaining to passengers and employees
Annual Salary Range: $129,092.60 - $161,306.60 (Level 13SA) - 35 Hour Work Week
