Nigeria's Geography

Nigeria has lots of regions including deserts, plains, swamps, mountains, and steamy jungles. It has one of the largest river systems in the world and the third largest delta on earth.

Boko Haram is a terriost group that started in Nigeria (very similar to ISIS). They have had many attacks on it's own coumtry, including kidnapping hundreds of women and children then sending them to camps. They also attacked a crowded market leaving 30 dead and 145 injured. This group also rode in on horse back to the village of Baanu and shot 68 people. Their biggest attack has been kidnapping 200 girls from a school, the girl's fate still remains a mystery. Many people believe that this group could be western people wanting to spread their military presence in Africa which could lead to even more imperialistic events in the furture.
