Mr. Sub was established in 1968 by two friends with a passion for making the best quality of food. Mr. Sub is a very corporate responsible company because they are strong in each of the 4 socially responsible categories.
- All Suppliers must follow Good Agricultural Practices to keep food safe
- Pays a premium for highest quality of safe ingredients
- Offers fair prices on all their products
- Uses industry best practices in gathering supplies & in business activities
- Doesn't support child labour
- Uses highest quality of chicken
- Changed old traditions to new ways that costumers wanted (eg. Lowering Counters so costumers could see their food being prepared)
- Doesn't tolerate discrimination of costumers or employees

- In 2010 they cut there carbon emissions by 104, 586 metric tons by moving stores closer to suppliers so that the trucks don't have to travel as far
- Use highly efficient LED lights for outer sign and exit sign in the restaurant
- Use high efficiency furnaces and heat recovery to limit energy consumption
- Supports renewable energy sources like Solar and Wind Energy
- Subway had far more eco-friendly products and plans, MR. SUB had little recognition of the environment
- Subway treats their employees better as they give them training along with extensive benefits
- Subway and MR. SUB both had very good ethics as Subway used initiative to only buy from certain suppliers no matter the price, while MR. SUB provided ethics training for their employees
- Subway was much more involved in the community as they supported a lot more charities than MR. SUB
