The Boardroom
Opening Hours
Our term-time opening hours are:
Do you need a quiet room where you can work in groups or on a presentation?
The Boardroom is available for a maximum of 1 1/2 hours – you will need to book ahead at the Service Desk.
There is a TV and computer in the boardroom for you to work on. You can also take in laptops that you have borrowed from UCL.
Monday – Thursday: 8.30am – 9pm
Friday: 9am – 4pm
Saturday: 11pm – 5pm
Laptops
The Self-Issue System
You can borrow our laptops for use within UCL from the Lapsafe cabinet located on the ground floor.
Follow the simple instructions then the laptop is usually yours to borrow all day.
Use the self-issue machine to issue, return and renew books.
You can also pay your fines and view account information here.
Assignment service
Printing
You may submit a hard copy of your assignment to our dedicated service desk.
Please make sure of the following:
- you have your ID card
- your assignment has a front cover sheet with a scannable bar code
- you submit it prior to 1 hour before closing (exceptions apply when we operate restricted service).
A system called PaperCut is used for printing.
Top-up your account using the cashloader or with vouchers from the service desk.
Printing charges:
A4 Black and White: 5p
A3 Black and White: 10p
A4 Colour: 30p
