• Thirdly, researcher mentioned that the percentage of youths who are computer addicts to get health disorder are high.
• More and more people all over the world will experience the health disorder, and emotional effects due to computer addiction.
• Sometimes, they get miserable when they are grounded or not allowed to use the computer in any way by their parents which lead them to depression.

• Secondly, isolation ,avoidance and no family bonding are another effect of computer addiction. Because of spending too much time on the computer, youths have a propensity(tendency) to reduce socializing with others.
• They tend to feel that computer is the only form of relationship that they have the time to focus on. They have a tendency to lose the desire for human contact and communication and in a way they are breaking away from reality.
• Within the lives of youths who are addicted with computers, it is their family and friends that suffer the most from this kind of isolation.

Thesis Statement

. Over the time, the spread of different technological tools across the world has immensely influenced the behavior of large amount of people especially youths. One of the technological tools that has become the centre of attraction is computer.

. Today’s youths spend too much time on computer, surfing the internet , playing games, and chatting on social networking for hours. Some have become addicted and suffer from the Computer Addiction Disorder (CAD).

. They made their computer as a part of their existence which they can hardly spend a day without them. The results of this study are in agreement of students to have sleepless night to face the computer.

• First and foremost, one of the effects of computer addiction is academic deterioration which lead to personal neglect.
• Since youth's usually occupy most of their time with the computer and internet, they tend to pay no attention to their studies at all. This indirectly leads to awful grades in exam and a bad perceptions from teachers and parents, and when one is too obsessed with surfing the internet, they tend to pay no attention to their standards of living apart from the computer which they are using.
• Some may not take bath, clean their room, or eat well as they are too much focused on what they are doing virtually. Because of the long hour spent engaged with the computer, youths often have eating irregularities. Such as skipping meal or overseating.
• For this reason, the youth's teacher and parents will scold and punish them one way or another for flunking in exam.

. As the results show, addiction to computer affects academic deterioration, personal neglet, isolation, avoidance, no family bonding, health disorder and depression.
