Floods
Heavy precipitation and strong winds are normally associated with floods
The Coastal Plains is where the most flooding happens because that is where Texas gets the most rain fall
Floods may happen any time of the year near a body of water, mostly in the spring time though
Damage can range anywhere from bridges, cars, buildings, sewer systems, roadways, canals, and any other type of structures.
People and livestock die due to drowning. It can lead to epidemics and diseases
