Many of the churches and cathedrals that survive from medieval times have also had additions to them. Therefore, we can identify different building styles in the same complete building.

The Weapons in medieval times
Daily Life Architecture
Peasants lived in cruck houses. These had a wooden frame onto which was plastered wattle and daub. This was a mixture of mud, straw and manure. The straw added insulation to the wall while the manure was considered good for binding the whole mixture together and giving it strength. The mixture was left to dry in the sun and formed what was a strong building material.
Castles were built to act as power bases. Lands were subject to invasion. There was the need for a variety of Middles Ages weapons to suit the Knights, foot soldiers and archers of the Era. This was the period of the Norman conquest and the battle of Hastings. The fighting in Europe had a brief respite when the attentions of the Medieval warlords turned their attention to the Holy Land when their Middle Ages weapons were used by the Knights Templar, Teutonic Knights and the Hospitallers to fight in the crusades. Middle Ages Weaponry was vital to the religious knights.
Knighthood & Knights in the Middle Ages
To gain Knighthood in the Middle Ages was a long and arduous task. Knighthood was not bestowed purely because a young man was the son of a noble. There were many steps to achieving a knighthood, requiring years of training. The steps towards achieving a knighthood started with training as a page and then as a squire, also referred to as esquire.

Each European country would imitate the fashions and clothing of another but still manage to retain its own identity.
The influence of the Normans:
The Normans were influenced by French food and also Scandinavian food. The Normans were known to document recipes although generally they passed form the master cook to the apprentice. The tastes of the Norman nobility were far more sophisticated than the English. The Normans also enjoyed feasts and special occasions when lavish meals and food could be served.
The Influence of the Crusades:
The influence of the Crusades had a startling effect on Middle Ages Food. Kings, Knights, Lords and other crusaders had traveled 3000 miles to reach the Holy Lands. And during their travels they were introduced to the spices which were added to different foods by different cultures. These new ideas about Middle Ages food were brought back by the Crusaders and new foods and recipes were introduced to the European menu.
From the 11th through the 14th centuries, medieval clothing varied according to the social standing of the people. I think that is really important to get to know other religion in order to respect that religion and their culture. What I mean with this is that society is really harsh with everything and that discriminates every single thing that is present now a days, and a lot of people discriminates really hard the Muslims. As also people discriminates Colombia there is also people (ignorant people) who discriminates the Muslims and the Islam, because they don’t know about it, they don’t know in what they believe. And getting to know their religion is really important, to respect them, to know who they really are and also to learn about new things. I´m really thank for this experience that Casa Cultural Musulmana brought to us. :)
“To be a true hero you must be a true Christian. To sum up then, heroism is largely based on two qualities- truthfulness and unselfishness, a readiness to put one's own pleasures aside for that of others, to be courteous to all, kind to those younger than yourself, helpful to your parents, even if helpfulness demands some slight sacrifice of your own pleasure. . .you must remember that these two qualities are the signs of Christian heroism.”
