Two Kinds of Love
Nature is Everywhere
- Civic love is the love we see among us and our neighbors. It can be found in simple actions such as greeting them when we see them or helping one another even if you don't know each other.
- Political love is the love found in the relationship of the politicians and the citizens. A government official makes decisions based on what he believes benefits the people and not just him and those in power.
- As said in the previous frame, we are bonded with all of God's creations and we are also His representation here on earth.
- Nature does not only mean the plants and animals, but also the elements such as air and water. Thus, there is nature even in the sacraments such as baptism.
More Than Just The Environment
- The Pope believes that everyone finding peace and joy among each other is just as important as having a clean environment.
- He states that one of the important keys to a better world is to spread more love around society.
The Spirit of Generous Care
Ecological Education and Spirituality
- This helps allow us to accept our duties as stewards of God's creation.
- It also reminds that as creations of God, we are all bonded in a universal connection and therefore, we must look after each other.
A Green Mind and Heart
- Environmental education teaches us and helps us come up with solutions to solve such problems.
- Ecological spirituality reminds us that we must care for our surroundings as stewards of God's creation.

It All Starts With Us
The Poor and The Earth
- Changing our lifestyles to something more environmental makes businesses and politicians more aware of their actions requiring them to adapt to our way of life
- The government can then encourage more people to follow this lifestyle since they are looked up to by many.
- We can also use community networks to reach out to others and teach them about this lifestyle.
- Aside from awareness, another key to solving environmental problems is by first decreasing the amount of poverty.
- The poor are the ones who will feel the effects of the unclean environment the most.
The Consumerist Lifestyle
- This means we are very self-centered and could care less about our surrounding; thus, it can lead to violence and mutual destruction.
- We need to be more generous, more empathetic and more conscious of our actions towards others.
