other
stuff
so
lets
get
on
with
my
amazing
poems
the first poem is about batman
Batman
One dark stormy night there came a fright
A criminal out going postal
Armed with a gun and killing for fun
The town was filled with terror
The police were no use they were reading the news
An unstoppable force on the run
No need to mope when there still is a hope
As long as batman is still thriving
As if on queue out the window he flew
His wings still keeping him airborne
He landed with a thud, right into the mud
And startled the scared serial killer
He punched the man, and the fight began
An exchange of blows they were sharing
With his suit on his side, he was filled up with pride
And Batman was starting to succeed
Noticing this the man left like a sis
Soon to be closely followed
Away he sprang, the outlaw with his gang
Still no match for this idol
With a Batarang out, there was no doubt
That Batman would surely triumph
One by one, the men were outdone
And they were crying down on the floor
Yet the fight is not won till it’s all the way done
As Joker and Penguin appeared
Penguin came first, with his umbrella reversed
Shooting bullets streaming right by him
Dodging left and right, was the famous dark knight
Who wouldn’t be stopped for any reason
Then Penguin set out, his toy penguins about
To spray poisonous gas all around him
Trying not to breathe in, he punched the villain
And sent him flying backwards.
Sprawled on the floor, penguin lived no more
And now he sent out to get Joker.
Joker pulled out a gun, and had great fun
Enveloping Batman in bullets
With his bulletproof suit, that nobody could shoot
He walked right into the fire
With knifes shaped like cards, that could make him die hard
Joker went ahead and threw them
It was so grand, when just with his hand
Batman could knock them away
He came right up, and Jokers neck he cupped
And threw him of In the corner
Pinning him on the wall, it was curtain call
For the famous villain named joker
Batman a hero, made all the other villains zero
And never could be defeated
Neither Riddler, Mothman, nor Bane and Catwoman
Had a chance against this marvelous good guy
The legend will live on, and him we’ll look upon
As an amazing hero to remember
Now lets go on to my sonnet
a poem about summer and an hourglass
Duncan’s Sonnet
Summer is the sand in an hourglass
It slowly but surely dwindles away
By the end it seems to have gone so fast
The time ticks away from your time to play
At the start one doesn’t realize a thing
And doesn’t have a worry or a care
But finally it will end like a string
And when it comes they sit there and just swear
It goes by so fast it baffles your mind
So treat every second as if it‘s gold
Before the stretch is up your left behind
So spend your time wisely before your old
Live in the moment don’t look in the past
Live like its summer and have a great blast.
Now we have my last poems
these ones are limmericcks
I wrote three of them
The first one is about
A man-eating muffin the second one is about m.r green and the last one
drumroll
is about mrs. lefevre
Limericks
There once was a man-eating muffin
Who had a friend who was a puffin
He ate a man
Who lived in a can
And ran away, puffin-huffin.
I was in a class with a bunch of nerds
We had to learn a bunch of words
The teacher was mean
his name was Mr. green
and his only friends were some birds
I had a teacher Mrs. Lefevere
Our class would always tease her
She would cry
When she looked at the sky
And she’d often complain about a fever
