The researchers will conduct this study to seek answers on the following:

PERSONALITY AND BEHAVIOR

In this statement, shows the general weighted mean of 3.49 which is interpreted as agree. This means that the work immersion contributed to their personality and behavior. And "work immersion has helped me gain self-knowledge" as the highest weighted mean with 3.60 which is interpreted as strongly agree, can be concluded that work immersion can help the students to gain self-knowledge.

RESEARCH FINDINGS

Objectives

DEMOGRAPHIC PROFILE OF THE RESPONDENTS

In this statement,it shows the demographic profile of the Grade 12 ABM respondents. Only 108 students are the final respondents of the study. Most of the respondents had their work immersion at the age of 18 or 62% of the population. Most respondents were females with 81 or 75% of the population. Therefore, most of the students who had their work immersion is female.

2. To know the perception of Grade 12-ABM students regarding the work immersion in terms of:

2.1 Role and placement of the student

2.2 Orientation

2.3 Relationship within the workplace

2.4 Facilities

2.5 Policies and practices

1. To know the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of:

1.1 Age

1.2 Gender

1.3 Length of time of work immersion

3. To know the perception of Grade 12-ABM students on how the work immersion significantly contributed to their:

3.1 Personality and behavior

3.2 Skills

3.3 Values

3.4 Competence/knowledge

3.5 Abilities

The study aims to assess level of satisfaction of Grade 12 ABM students on work immersion. The study targets to know what specific difficulties they encounter. The study is not only for the researchers but also for all the students in different parts of the world to be knowledgeable about what is happening during a work immersion.

THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK

Albert Bandura’s Social Learning Theory (1977), states that people learn from each other through observation, imitation and modeling. According to Learning Theory (n/a), people learn through observing others’ behavior, attitudes, and outcomes of those behavior. Most human behavior is learned observationally through modeling: from observing others, one forms an idea of how new behaviors are performed, and on later occasions this coded information serves as a guide for action. Social learning theory explains human behavior in terms of continuous reciprocal interaction between cognitive, behavioral, and environmental influences.

RELATIONSHIP WITHIN WORKPLACE

In this statement, shows that the respondents “strongly agreed” with the statement regarding the perception according to the relationship within the workplace, such as: the highest rank is the supervisor help us with the task we didn’t know with a weighted mean of 3.71 while the lowest rank is tie with the attitude of the supervisor on how they care and concerned it’s not that lowest rank but they had small different with a weighted mean 3.68 and had a overall weighted mean of 3.69 that close to with the weighted mean overall.

VALUES

COMPETENCE/KNOWLEDGE

Conclusion

In this statement, shows the general weighted mean of 3.11 which is interpreted as agree. This means that the work immersion contributed to their values. And "show concern for the well-being of others" is the highest weighted mean with 3.16 that is agree, can be concluded that work immersion can make the students be concerned about the well being of others.

In this statement, shows the general weighted mean of 3.43 which is interpreted as agree. This means that the work immersion contributed to their competence/knowledge. Moreover, "is capable to analyze and prepare documents and other paper works" is the highest weighted mean with 3.49 that is agree, states that work immersion can make the students be capable in analyzing and prepare documents and other paper works.

RATIONALE

SKILLS

Based on the gathered data, the following conclusions are made:

1) Majority of ABM students respondents are mostly female, with the age of 17-19 years old and most of them completed work immersion mostly 40-60 hours.

2) The ABM students’ perception claimed that they agree on their role and placement. While, strongly agree as the result of the orientation meaning that their officer in charge share their expert knowledge on the job. During their work immersion, relationship in the workplace is needed and they strongly agreed that their supervisors help them on the task that they are not familiar. Manuel S. Enverga University is a private non-sectarian school and is known locally and internationally; at 3.69 weighted mean, the verbal description in regards too facilities is that they strongly agree in terms of ventilation.

3) The perception of ABM students on how work immersion significantly contribute to their social experiences with a weighted mean of 3.63 meaning they strongly agree that work immersion contributed greatly.

In this statement, shows the general weighted mean of 3.45 which is interpreted as agree. This means that the work immersion significantly contributed to their skills. Moreover, "able to self-motivative whenever there is a task given" is the highest weighted mean with 3.54 that is strongly agree, states that work immersion can help the students to self-motivate in the tasks given

Work immersion is part of the K-12 Curriculum as it gives the students an opportunity to experience to work to their respective specialization. According to Lozada (2017), the importance of work immersion must be a vital point of giving students a venue to improve themselves through experiencing real stuff firsthand. This is the very highlight of the Senior High School program. It helps students to acquire knowledge and experience that can help them grow as professional individuals.

According to S. P. Robbins, perception can be defined as “the process by which individuals organize and interpret their sensory impressions in order to give meaning to their environments.”

Perception not only creates our experience of the world around us; it allows us to act within our environment.

One person may be viewing the facts in one way which may be different from the facts as seen by another viewer.

With the help of perception, the needs of various people can be determined, because people’s perception is influenced by their needs

c. Recommendations

As the proponents conducted the research, the proponents recommend the following for future researches:

1) Further research on teacher’s perception on the development of the students in terms of skills of the said subject or unit.

2) Further research if the perception of the students varies on their section.

3) Further research on the perception of the officer in charge of the work immersion trainees if the students practice good values.
