How it all began...
- David did not believe that there is only one way to measure intelligence.
- 1939 he came up with 3 intelligence tests a.k.a. Wechsler-Bellevue Intelligence Scale.
His intelligence scores help diagnose for mental retardation, specific learning disabilities, ADHD, and other behavior disorders
It is also a good way to measure fluid intelligence (inductive and deductive reasoning) and crystallized intelligence (knowledge and skills that are primarily influenced by environmental and sociocultural factors)
"David defines intelligence as the global capacity of the individual to act purposefully, think rationally, and deal effectively with the environment" (Snowman 114).
IQ test, test how a student does in a classroom environment but it does not include how the student displays intelligence in other settings
