A Raven appears above a mans dorway, taunting him about is "lost Lenore". As the man continues telling the Raven to stop, the Raven just replies with the same "Nevermore" as it did before. At the end of the story, the man is dead and the Raven still quotes "Nevermore."

A little about Poe

Edgar Allan Poe was born on January 19, 1809 in Boston. After a rough childhood, a partially successful military service. Edgar began writing, but the things he wrote were not joyful. Edgar had a bad history with his foster father and past lovers in which who had passed away by illness. This caused Poe to have some psychological damage, in which effected his writing.
