I would recommend this book to anyone interested in fiction. On a scale of 1 – 10, I would give it an 8. I really enjoyed the book and I plan to read the next book in the series: Crossed.

Summary
In the book, Matched, Cassia lives in a society where the government decides what they eat, where they work, and who they marry. Cassia gets matched with her best friend and thinks everything will turn out fine. Until Ky, an aberration, appears on her matching her screen. he teaches her how to write, something forbidden in the society. The the officers find out and gives Cassia a warning. But she doesn't listen so later on they take Ky away from the society. Cassia and her family get relocated in another society and she makes the grand decision to go looking for Ky.
- Cassia Reyes - She's 17 years old and lives in Province Oria. Cassia is classed as a Sorter.
- Xander Carrow- He is 17 years old and lives in Province Oria. Xander is classed in the Medical field.

Matched takes place in the future America. Where there are different provinces. Cassia lives in Oria but then after getting into trouble with the society, she gets moved to the Outer Provinces.
