Three headings or "perspectives" for our contract.
- What I expect from my tutor
- What I expect from my classmates
- What my tutor can expect from me
Why might a class contract be important for us?
1. It is a potentially stressful course requiring peer feedback
2. Honesty and self-reflection are needed
3. It should be a safe haven to admit failure and to experiment
4. There is a mix of backgrounds and levels of confidence, so contract can help us appreciate this
Why might a class contract be useful in your class?
1.Identification of norms and expectations (are they reasonable or not?)
2.Behaviour management tool (prevention being better than cure - evidence suggests a 28% reduction in poor behaviour can be achieved by having clear rules and procedures)
3.Group bonding
