Social
Globalization is present now and was in the past (20th and 21st c.). This shows itself true because people from different backgrounds and ethnicity were coming together. Immigration was also more accepted. We can see diffusion by looking downtown . many cultural restaurants : Jamaican, Italian, American, Chinese, Japanese are there for everyone to enjoy .
Economy
Political
Economic diffusion is probably one of the most evident forms of globalization. Countries constantly export and import goods from other countries so products from the USA are in China , Products from Taiwan may be in Germany and it goes on . This is good that we have free trade and having this boosts countries economy.
Governments from all over the world would like to please themselves but if other countries don't agree they usually have disagreements that could possibly start a war. The UN was created in the 20th century and was formed to have peace between all countries who were a part of it. This set a milestone in history because there was no treaty that was this big and was for various countries . this showed governments were diffusing together to make things better.

08.06H The Modern Era Globalization
Certain religious groups such as Muslims were only found in one area of the world which was the Middle East but after years have passed they are all over the world. other religious groups that were previously prosecuted because of their religion can move about the world freely without being in harms way.
Cell phones are a big part of cultural diffusion in the technology department. This is evident even after my trip to Africa last month. when witnessing in the villages most individuals who you thought wouldn't have a phone because of the poorness of the areas had cellular devices. Another was an African girl i met with and went to the beach with was talking about the new blackberry that was coming out and how she would get it as soon as it's in stores. Another would be computers evolving and starting from the really large computers to now, touch screen computers. Ideas are floating around the world and dispersing everywhere.

Intellectual
People traveling to and form countries spread and mobilized ideas. In this time there was also more education and many schools to teach all the kids that were born during the "Baby Boom". many entrepreneurs and businessmen were grasping ideas from other nations and with the people in that same field and that still goes on today.
