I have learnt more about what I previously knew when coming to use various types of technologies from the process of constructing my final draft of my opening sequence. I edited and manufactured my opening sequence with the use of Final Cut Pro which has advanced settings to use to make your product the best it can be.
There is such a large branch of media technologies and ways in which I could improve my Opening Sequence. Compared to my Preliminary Task, I have advanced much more in the way I have even put my film together. Using variation of equipment and applications to put it all together. YouTube, Final Cut Pro, Soundcloud, Prezi and Piktochart.
I used Soundcloud to do voice record answer to my evaluation question. I have used Soundcloud before oten, but I have never posted any link of media on to it myself. I have learned to do this for my opening sequence. I used Soundcloud for inspiration to choose my soundtrack and see what would suit the genre of Drama. I have my own soundtrack over my video and not from something which already exists. This website helped me to have an idea of what I was going to use for my Opening Sequence to represent my genre well and heighten the atmosphere as the storyline heightens.
I used YouTube as the link to view my Opening Sequence Final on my blog. This is a great feature to display and share video media documents in either a public or exclusice linked share. I was aware of theprocess in which was necessary when using YouTube although I had never used the feature of annotations for notes over the video itself. I have used this to evoke the answer to one of the other evaluation questions. I have used YouTube for all of my publishing of my short clips, learning tasks or short films and coursework.
