If you have a passion for a sport why not uses that as a way to get into a good school for free? If you put in more effort into homework and sports, you should almost be obligated to be paid. They already get scholarships so that their school is already paid for, but they also get benefits from the school and NCAA and prepped for professional leagues such as NFL, NBA, MLS, etc... However, they work 40 hours more a week. College athletes should be paid to play, most college athletes grew up with parents that have low income, and they use that to their advantage to get into college for free. If you work more than most students, you should you get paid for it.

They most likely if not all most of them come from backgrounds of poverty. College athletes take a step into the world of finance. It teaches them about how to organize and save their for retirement plans. Financial woes have beaten 60% of the NBA players by leaving them broke within 5-6 years after retirement. 4It teaches them about how to organize and save their for retirement plans.

In conclusion, there are more reasons to pay them rather than not to. Either way there are going to be different opinions on the matter about whether they should get paid or not. There are different ways of perceiving this topic, and there are many different perspectives, but overall, athletes should be paid.

(2) What public speaking tips do you find most challenging, and did you improve on them? I find making and keeping eye-contact the most difficult, because it is hard for me to find where I left off when I raise my head to look.

(3) How did your audience react to your presentation? My mother had about whether or not I felt like this material applied to me.

(4) Did you change how you present or the content of your argument as a result? Explain with examples.

Yes. I weighed heavier on the side where athletes should get paid, and related the speech more to my personal beliefs and how they apply to my life.
