  • President Nixon was the first president to resign.
  • It was on the television so America can see it and he had saluted with the peace sign and took off in a helicopter.
  • After his resign some men were arrested for wiretapping the Democratic National Committee Headquarters.
  • The war had started in 1955 but the U.S. got involved in 1964.
  • President Eisenhower had supported Diem and South Vietnam in the war.
  • Boats had attacked U.S. destroyers and the president had ordered to bomb the enemy North Vietnam.
  • Over 3 million people had died in this war.
  • The leaders of the movement were Huey Newton and Bobby Seale.
  • They had practiced self defense and just wanted political equality.
  • They believed in Malcom X beliefs.
  • In1967 Huey Newton was arrested for killing a cop.
  • John Lennon had started the band but the other band members were Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney,and George Harrison.
  • There first song that hit the charts was in 1962 which was Love Me Do.

  • When they split up in 1969 John Lennon was the first to leave the group.

  • Elvis had also been an actor and made 4 movies.
  • Steven Wozniak and Steven Jobs were really big into electronics in high school.
  • Wozniak had made the first apple product known as the Apple I.
  • They had both worked together and wanted to sell it but it didn't really take off.
  • It was when the Apple II came it was popular because it was the first computer with a plastic case and color graphics.

  • The first americans to land on the moon were Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin on the Apollo 11.

  • It had spread to five continents already by 1980.
  • It was spread by sexual contact and blood.

  • Most of them used drugs like marijuana and LSD.
  • They had celebrated at music festivals like Woodstock.

  • President Nixon was supposedly not involved because his former Attorney General had approved of it.
  • Governor Wallace had promised the white people that there would be segregation in the schools.
  • President Kennedy ordered troops to be sent to the University of Alabama to desegregate the school.
  • After Governor Wallace had been overruled by the president two African Americans had been enrolled in the University of Alabama.
  • John Hinckely Jr. had shot at Reagan when he was leaving a speaking event in Washington.
  • The movie Taxi Driver had influenced and gave Hinckley ideas to assassinate Reagan.
  • Hinckley first shot had missed the president.
  • The president was only wounded by three other people had gotten shot.
