The Tudors are one of the most famous royal families in history. Here's a family tree to track their progress.

The Tudors

I was born in Pembroke, and grew to end the rivalry between our families by marrying Elizabeth of York. I started the great Tudor Dynasty when I claimed to be the heir of Lancaster.

Henry VII

Elizabeth of York

I married both Arthur and Henry VIII, brothers.

I was the only one of Henry VIII 's wives that was left alive. I played a key role in passing the Third Succession Act, and I also helped with the education of Edward and Elizabeth

I was a selfish king who was only interested in luxury and women. I was so egoistic I started my own church when the catholic church wouldn't let me divorce my first wife. I proceeded to marry 6 women

I am described as the most beautiful princess of the Tudors, my first husband died shortly after our marriage, and I quickly married Charles Brandon, much to the dismay of my brother, Henry.

Aunt of Elizabeth, Mary, and Edward, I was the second child of Henry VII and Elizabeth of York. I created tension between Scotland and England when I wrote to England that I was being mistreated in Scotland. I had three husbands.

I was the only child of Archibald Douglass and Margaret, Queen of Scots. I married Mathew Stewart, and we had two boys, Henry, and Charles.

I was going to become the queen of England, but I married a spaniard, which was controversial. As a result, the throne was given to my sister, Elizabeth

I ruled from 1558 to 1603, and was a very popular queen. My reign was called the elizabethian era, which was famous for dramas by Shakespeare and Marlowe. I relied on a group of advisers, who helped me with policy issues and was described as short-tempered and indecisive.

I was crowned King at 17 months old when my father, James IV died in battle, and grew up a ruler. I had two wives.

I was the only child of James V of Scotland and Mary of Guise. I married Francis II of France and was briefly queen consort of France, until Francis died in 1560. I then married Henry Stuart, my cousin. We had an unhappy marriage until He was murdered in 1567. After yet another unsuccessful marriage to James Hepburn, I fled to Elizabeth I for refuge. She imprisoned me and had me executed on the basis that I was plotting against her.

I married my cousin, Mary, the Queen of Scots
