"From Hell" Letter

Montague John Druitt

(August 15, 1857 – December 1888)

Supposedly the first letter that was sent to the police by Jack the Ripper.

Postmarked September 27, 1888

"Clip the lady's ear off"

This letter was sent to George Lusk on October 16, 1888.

Accompanied by a box that contained half a kidney.

Led to the Openshaw letter.
