The impact of rainforest habitat loss takes a devastating toll on plants and animals. Some key impacts are:
Website: Thing Link Link:https://pgcpsmess.files.wordpress.com/2014/07/image62.jpg
There are lots of different species of animals that live in rainforests such as macaws, sloths, spider monkeys, ect.
Almost half of these animals are considered endangered, and we are making this happen with logging and carbon emissions. These animals are rare, like we said that only 2% of the Earth is rainforest.
Deforestation
Deforestation is the process in which people cut down trees.
This not only harms the environment but it also harms the animals living their.
Only 2% of the Earths surface is covered in rainforests so by cutting these places down we are destroying a very rare area and then we burn the logs or make them into paper releasing carbon dioxide in the air and that causes global warming.
