These are 2 of the most famous artworks from the Renaissance period. So, the first one is an artwork called "Mona Lisa" (1517). This artwork is the most famous artwork from that period. The Mona Lisa was made by a genius... Leonardo Da Vinci! Leonardo Da Vinci has created many more artworks that are amazing! For example: The battle of Anghiari. Anyways, this man was also an engineer. During his engineer career, he created helicopters and tanks. This man was very talented, and has given us many useful things to make life easier. He has also given us a new era in art.
These are some of the most famous artworks from the Baroque period. The first once is called The Last Supper (1498), the second one is called Rape of the Sabines: by Pietro da Cortona. Finally, the last one is called Judith Beheading Holofernes, done by Caravaggio. As you can see, in all of these Baroque artworks, there are a lot of facial expression, etc.
