-I think that Fiona's bed would look like this. She would have it neatly arranged and would find it relieving to have it connected to a wall, so that it is never out of order. Addiontally, Fiona's bed would have drawers attatched to it. This would be so she could easily access things from her bed if ever in a hurry. I think Fiona would have small things in her drawers, like earbuds and hair ties. She would sometimes even keep presents in there because of her gentle personality to give to the elderly (Fiona would definitely volunteer in nursing homes in a modern society.). Fiona's bedspread would be simple like her, calming colors that remind her of her friends and give off a serene vibe. Her bed would be orderly and she would have matching pillows, around two or three and a fluffly blanket that she could use as a prop when doing work in bed. A light or lamp would also be ideal for Fiona, like the one in the picture above her head so she can do work in her bed and/or if having sleepovers with friends, talk in hushed tones with a light on.

-Fiona would also have this desk in her bedroom. It would be placed near a window so she could work in early mornings easily, accompanied by a chair that includse a coushin so she can be as comfortable as possible when working. On her desk, Fiona would have many pencils and pens scattered out..They would vary from ballpoint to the simple pen, and also vary in many different colors such as red, black, blue, etc.. However, Fiona would have more black pens than any other because of her friends constantly stealing her colorful ones, and I think that she would also be comfortable with black since it is a default color when writing. Her highligters would be colorcoded amongst the desk but she would clean and organize it every few days, however all of Fiona's writing utensils would ultimately end up disorganized due to the amount of work she does with all of them. Fiona would also have candles for when the electricity goes out due to storms. She would be residing in Florida since that is mostly where the old live and it is warm, and would always be prepared for storms. Fiona's candles would have various scents, ranging from pumpkin spice to vanilla. Papers and notebooks, along with index cards and folders would be within the drawers of Fiona's desk, so she could access them conviniently. Drawers would be a great help to Fiona when organizing her papers and other school work.

Fiona would include a wall shelf in her bedroom. It would serve as both a nice decoration in her room and an extra place to keep things such as flowers, blooks, or other decorations and/or necessities. One of the main things on this shelf would be presents given by others. Fiona would have many picture frames on this shelf to remember her friends and make her day better if she was ever stressed or feeling sad. One of the biggest picture frames on the shelf would be one with Fiona, Asher, and Jonas. It would be a simple shot of all of them smiling and giggling at Asher's joke while hanging out after school. All of them would have geniune smiles with their heads thrown back and eyes shining in mischief and happiness. It would be a picture all of them had in their possesion, a shot taken by Jonas's sister, Lily. Fiona would also have a vase on the top shelf, given to her by an elderly woman on the day of her birthday. It would be a daisy, with a card next to it on display reading, "Thank You for Being Who You Are!". This would immediately cheer Fiona up at sight. Other frames would include her family, friends, and her volunteering hours at nursing homes.

In her bedroom, Fiona would have painted her walls a light, pale pink. This would reflecther her serene and calm personality. I believe a light pink would be Fiona's favorite color because of how it is a somewhat similar shade of her hair, but much less brighter and not as intense. The calm shade would also be her favorite because of how it is decorated all throughout the nursing homes she visists and seems to calm the elderly down when they need it. It would remind her of the nightgowns that her favorite elders wear when she goes to vsist them, of her mother's ribbons that were passed down to her as a family tradition, and of the pillow that her grandmother used to have before she passed. Fiona would love the color mint pink, and it would most defintely be her wall color. She would be in gentle bliss amongst herself and her thoughts. The wallpaper choice would give her room a tranquil, serene glow as well.

Fiona's Pastel Walls

Fiona is characterized as sweet, gentle and sensitive in The Giver. She is caring and also very thoughtful, and if Fiona where to live in our present society, I belive her room would reflect her personality. Fiona would have a gentle and pastel room, with calm colors to show her serene personality and the comfort vibe she gives off when surrounded by others. Her room would be neatly organized with papers and other materials to keep track of her day, Fiona would also have recreational items such as books or a phone to calm herself down. Due to her fiery red hair, I believe Fiona would also have a few hair items to help tame her hair. She would additionally carry some perfume and makeup accessories to give away to the old due to her volunteering at nursing homes. Fiona would have other small items as well to give as tiny presents to the old.

Jonas's Grey wall

I feel like Jonas would have like a grey color bedroom because I feel like the grey would sooth him. When Jonas would be fruastrated, he would look at the wall and feel comfort in it. Even though the book doesnt directly tell you he likes dark colors, I figured since he is amitious and curious, he would try something different with his room and finds that he likes the grey in his bedroom. Curiosity can be bad at times and so he would find comfort in darker colored things even though he is kind. When I think of Jonas, I think of a guy who finds comfort and an intrest in darker things.

Jonas's Furniture

The Giver: Bedrooms of Jonas and Fiona

Jonas is characterized an itelligent and courage person who has integrity and doesnt like to dissapoint others. He cares for others. Jonas is a curious person who learns very well. He is determined and wise. I feel like Jonas would have a dark but soothing wall color since he is kind but also curious and curiousity could sometimes potentially lead to horrible things. He would have a desk that would be filled with papers since he is ambitious and the Giver must succeed or things might go terribly wrong. I think Jonas's closet would all be the same clothes. I also think that Jonas might have a book or two that comforts him when he needs it. Jonas can also be paranoid at times, so I think he might have a phone in his room so he can call someone and talk to them if necessary.

Jonas's Desk

I think Jonas would have work desk where he keeps all of his papers and where he could do homework. Jonas would keep it clean and organized but would have it become messy sometimes and not bother to clean it. He would have his desk under the window so he could look out of the window sometimes if he was stressful and remind himself that he was okay.

Jonas's Furniture

Jonas would have a darker room than most of his friends. I think the darkness of the room would keep him calm and allow him to focus. He would have a window by his desk so he can look out the window and feel comfort. He would have paintings that soothe him and have sentimental value. He would have a darker but have a little lightness in his bedspread that represent hope.
