Summary

A boy named Rafe's school called Airbrook Arts shut down permanently, so Rafe now has to go to HVMS or Hills Village Middle School. Rafe once went to HVMS but got kicked out because he broke most of the rules there. Rafe's mother tries to enroll Rafe back into the school, but one of the rules for the school is that you have to do a program called "The Program". So now Rafe has to go to the Rocky Mountains ,Colorado to do "The Program". Rafe must complete tasks to enroll back into HVMS.

Will Rafe complete his tasks in order to get enough tags for each day? What kind of challenges does he face? Will he survive in the woods? Will the Carmen and the other people survive? Read the book to find what happens.

For Rafe to get to "The Program",he had to take a bus. While Rafe was on the bus, he meant a girl named Carmen,who was also in "The Program" because she has done something that she shouldn't have and so as the other kids on the bus. In order from everyone to get away with what they have done, they have to go through a series of tasks to earn tags and each day, you have to have a certain amonut to stay in "The Program". If somebody does not have a certain amount of tags, you will be send back to the campsite for "The Program". Rafe has a lot to go through to get back into HVMS.

Rafe - A boy who tries to get into his old middle school. Rafe loves to draw and is very funny. He has black hair and most of the time, he wears a hoodie.

Setting #1 takes place in Rafe's home, where his him, his mother, and sister live.

Carmen - a girl who likes Rafe. Carmen is a lazy person who makes people do all of her wor for her. She has a ponytail and wears a raincoat and boots.

Sergeant Fish - A sergeant from "The Program" who tells kids there what to do. He is mean and crazy and a person who you would not like. Fish wears a winter hat and coat even though it is not winter.

If you like this book, then I suggest that you read the first book in this series and if you already read this book, then I suggest that you read other books written by James Patterson like the I Funny series.

Setting #3 takes place in The Program Campsite or Woods. This is where Rafe must complete tasks in order to go back to HVMS.
