About Medhavi Foundation:
- Standardized psychological & demographic assessments based on self concept, interest and personality - to know the student psychological behavior
- Personalized & sustained mentoring platform - 365 days toll free helpline (1800-200-1161) where a student can take one-on-one mentoring session with our counselors
- Workshops on life skills education, career awareness and communication skill
- Access to information on careers, vocational streams, courses, institutes, competitive exams, govt. loan schemes and scholarship opportunities

Advisors
Vinita Johorey, Vinita is a post graduate from Delhi University, a certified counselor and an MBTI professional. She has over eighteen years of work experience in diverse fields such as sales, HR and Counseling. A passionate reader, she has spent many years working with the social sector with organizations like Concern India Foundation, Project Nanhi Kali and Salaam Balak Trust.
Mr. Surya Prakash Loonker, COO, Social Development Consultants P Ltd - A social sector consultant, Surya currently advise over 10 non-profit organizations in India, and has over 15 years of experience working with 7 companies across USA & India.

About Medhavi Foundation
Operating Model:
- A youth led non-profit organization which is working with the vision to empower 5 lac under-privileged youth by 2017
- It currently operate in 3 states of India: Delhi, Haryana and Jharkhand, working with 20,000 govt. school students (std. 9-12)
- The organization has 4 full time people in the core team and 200+ volunteers from premier B-schools, engineering & psychology college and corporate organization
- Scalable model - reaching to 20k, 50k and 100k students in 1st, 2nd and 3 year of operation
- Effective Volunteers engagement -
- 3-5 member volunteer team assigned to each of the 40 government school
- 25 highly trained Psychology background students taking counseling session over the toll free helpline
- Technology enabled system - portal for counselors to view each student data and past counseling synopsis via unique id no. of a student, and access career and college information with systematic filter option

Desirable Social Impact
- High Dropout rate (52% in 2010)
- High suicide rates among the teenagers due to academic pressure, family problems - 11,314 youth committed suicide in the year 2010. 2,479 students committed suicide due to exam pressure in 2010.
- Low enrolment in vocational & higher education institutions - Only 1 out of 8 student reach a higher education institute
- Huge scarcity of skilled employees - Only 5% of the 489 mn labors are skilled in our country
- Information Gap: low awareness on vocational courses, institutes, financial schemes, scholarship opportunities

- Measurable decrease in dropout’s rate per school - target 20% dropout rate decrease in the next 2 years (for the schools where we work)
- Measurable increase in higher education enrollment - currently only 1 out of 8 school student reach to a higher education institute - target to increase the higher education enrollment rate from current 12.5% to 30% in the next 2 years (for the districts where we work)
- Increase in the number of skilled labor % - target to increase the skill labor % from current 5% to 15% in the next 2 years (for the districts where we work)
- Bridging the information gap - Students and parents make informed choices about their future education and employment plans - target to receive calls from 15k+ students in the next 2 yearsans -
