I chose the song In Loving Memory. I chose this song because Romeo and Juliet have both passed away.

I chose the song Going Under because it describes how panicked Friar Lawrence and Romeo are about Juliet.

For scene 2 I chose the song Marry You by Bruno Mars. I chose this song because Bruno sings about wanting to marry someone. In this scene Romeo goes to talk to Juliet and asks her if she would like to marry him.

Act 4 Scene 5

I chose the song I love you like a love song by selena gomez. I chose this song because it explains how much Romeo and Juliet love each other.

I chose the song Right here Waiting by Richard Marx. I chose this song because he sings about how he will wait for love no matter what. In Romeo and Juliet Juliet has to wait for news from the nurse and it takes a while but she does not give up on him.

Act 3 Scene 3

I chose the song Not One of Us from the Lion King II. I chose this song because just like how Romeo is getting banished scars son also gets banished.

"Deception, Disgrace he asked for trouble the moment he came."

I chose the song Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls. This song sums up a broken love and how it should work out. Juliet knows that Romeo killed Tybalt but she still loves him anyway.

Act 3 Scene 4

I chose the song I Loved her First by Heartland. I chose this song because Paris wants to marry Juliet so she asked Capulet about it.

" I don't want the world to see because I don't think they would understand."

I chose the song Snow Patrol by Chasing Cars. I chose the song because it is about almost giving up and letting go. Juliet doesn't care what her family thinks anymore she wants to be with Romeo.

I chose the song It's a Beautiful Day by Michael Buble. I chose this song because Capulet is really excited for the wedding between Paris and Juliet.

I chose the song How to Save a Life by The Fray because Capulet wants Juliet to marry Paris. In the song he sings about a mistake he made and how a life was lost. Just like in the play if Capulet wouldn't of wanting Juliet to marry Paris she wouldn't have passed away.

"Where did I go wrong? I lost a friend. Somewhere in the bitterness."

Act 4 Scene 3

I chose the song Stay With me by Sam Smith. I chose this song because even though Romeo is banished they are sticking together. Juliet does not want Romeo to leave her.

I chose the song A Thousand Years by Christina Perry. I chose this song because this is when Juliet drinks the potion. She would wait for Romeo for her whole life if she had to.

Act 3 Scene 1

"I have died everyday waiting for you. Darling don't be afraid i have loved you, for a thousand years."

Act 2 Scene 6

"Oh, won't you stay with me, 'cause your all I need."

I chose the song See You Again by Wiz Khalifa. I chose this song because this is the scene where Mercutio passes away. Romeo is very upset about his death, just like in the song.

"We've come a long way from where we began and I'll tell you all about it when I see you again."

I chose the song All of me by John Legend. I chose this song because he is singing about how much he loves a girl. Just like Romeo and Juliet how they love each other.

This scene I chose the song Wildest Dreams by Taylor Swift. The reason I chose this is because Mercutio has a speech about how Queen Mab controls your dreams. The song Wildest Dreams explains someone dreaming of having someone.

I chose the song Ours by Taylor Swift because it is talking that she does not care about what people think she is going to do whatever she wants. Juliet feels the same about Romeo she loves him and she does not care what people think.

I chose the song Amazing Grace by John Newton. I chose this song because it is Juliets funeral. Amazing Grace is a very popular song for mourning.

In this scene Romeo is dreaming about Rosaline so I chose the song Boyfriend by Justin Bieber. Justin sings about what he would do if he was with the girl of his dreams. Just like Romeo wanting to be with Rosaline.

I chose the song Bad Blood for this scene. I chose this song because Taylor Swift sings about her enemy and how they are in a fight. It is just like the Montagues and the Capulets because they are enemies.

Act 1 Scene 5

Finally for this final scene in act 1. I chose the song A Moment Like This by Kelly Clarkson. She sings abou a magical moment and when Romeo and Juliet kissed it started something magical.

I chose the song Fifteen by Taylor Swift because this song describes young love. Just like how both Romeo and Juliet are young and they are in love.

For this scene I chose the song Reflection from Disneys movie Mulan. She is singing about how she does not want to be what her parents want her to be. Just like how Juliets mom wants her to marry Paris.
