FOLHETO
Gregory's Opinion: Medicine for Humanity
Works Cited
-the potential benefits of ESC research are to great to be left alone
-research should continue and restrictions should not be placed on funding
-valuable medical knowledge will be revealed due to research, which may or may not relate directly to ESCs
-the application of ESC research should be restricted to extreme cases
-knowledge gained form ESC research should be used develop new treatments, perhaps less controversial treatments
-debates on future bio technologies should be held on a case by case basis
Possible Impacts Of Biotechnology
E-MAIL DE MARKETING
-favors the wealthy
-longer life spans for people who can afford treatment
-overpopulation exacerbated by increased life spans
-wealthier people will have the majority of the resources in the event of extreme overpopulation
-people of poorer countries will be placed at a greater disadvantage in terms of resources
-the number of different genetic lines will be diminished as disadvantaged people die more frequently
-genetic modification (improved genes) may become necessary for survival
-the adoption of certain desirable genes is inevitable (Suaudeau, 2011)
- certain cosmetic or practical phenotypes will be more popular than others
-genetic variation may decrease significantly
