  • Professor Faber: a coward with a huge amount of knowledge

What did I like about the book?

Plot summary

  • I enjoyed how the protagonist changed his thinking from being careless to being curious and thirsty for knowledge
  • I liked how the book pictured the situation today's generation is heading for
  • I also enjoyed how books were a source of life
  • Guy Montag, a fireman, who loves his job and never questions why he is doing it.
  • Montag meets Clarisse who loves nature and think burning is stupid.
  • Montag finds his wife has overdosed on sleeping pills
  • Montag starts to steal books and begins reading the Bible
