GOAL!

Renewable Energy

-is classified as energy that comes from resources like sun light (known as solar), wind, geothermal heat and rain that are constantly replenished.

DISADVANTAGES:

- Reliability of Supply

- Difficult to Generate in Large Quantity

- Large Capital Cost

- Large Tracts of Land Required

Potential Economically Disruptive Technologies

3D PRINTING

-a process for making a physical object from a three-dimensional digital model, typically by laying down many successive thin layers of a material.

DISADVANTAGES:

- Intellectual property issues

- Unchecked production of dangerous items

- Limitations of size

- Limitations of raw material

- Cost of printers

Advanced Robotics

-used to define any sensor-based robots that attempt to mimic human intelligence.

DISADVANTAGES:

- Cannot respond in times of danger as humans can

- Very expensive and could harm the global economy

- Dependent to their operator

- Human will overly depend on them

CLOUD COMPUTING

-the practice of using a network of remote servers hosted on the Internet to store, manage, and process data, rather than a local server or a personal computer.

DISADVANTAGES:

- Possible downtime

- Security and Privacy

- Vulnerability to attack

- Limited control and flexibility

Mobile Internet

-refers to the use of browser-based Internet services from handheld mobile devices, such as smartphones or feature phones, through a mobile or other wireless network.

DISADVANTAGES:

- Thinking capacity reduced

- Privacy disturbance

- Addiction

- Inactivity

- Wastage of time
