Our Patron God Apollo
- He is the youngest son of Zeus
- Apollo is known for the god of music and poetry
- He has a twin sister named Artemis
- Megarian currency is unique, it has the face and lyre of Apollo
- He was the protector of the children in Greece
- Apollo had A lyre which he g0t from Hermes, the god of travel and trade.

Who built the tunnel of Eupalinos:
Eupalinos
- He is a famous builder and engineer
- He built the Tunnel of Eupalinos to supply water to Samos, a island in Greece
- He is the son of Naustrophos
- Megara is a trade port in which it used its wealth to gain leverage on armies and neighboring City States
- Megara has two harbors, Pegae and Nisaea
- Megara is famous for its beautiful textiles
- Megarians got out of trouble by trading textiles
Byzas
- Son of Posiedon
- He founded Byzantium in 667 B.C.E
- Byzantium is now located where Constantinople and Istanbul are.
- He was supposed to found the Greek colony named Dorian of Megara.
- But he consulted the oracle of Apollo at delphi and he told him to settle opposite of the land of the blind.
- At that location he founded Byzantium
