Each setting for a Gothic Horror story requires three extra details:
- A mysterious occupant
- A specific location
- A rumor/mysterious past concerning the origins of the place (EG someone died there)
B - Give your 'gothic horror house' an occupant - how old are they? what is their job? how long have they lived there?
S - Now you know your occupant give this house a location - be really detailed, using adverbs and adjectives
G - Give this location a mysterious past - again be really detailed in how you explain this
G.O.A.T - Write one paragraph imagining you walking up to this house: describe what you can see, feel, hear (remember, detail is key!)
The house is clearly not good enough for a Gothic setting, so again make five SPECIFIC changes to the house so it could suit a Gothic horror story
