The first public radio broadcast was in 1920. The public quickly became overwhelmed with need for radios. Between 1923 and 1930, 60 percent of American households purchased radios.
Telephones
In the 1920's the most popular and reliable telephone was invented. Bell's Model 102 could be found in over 3 million households.
Refrigerators
Refrigerators began to take the place of Ice Boxes in households.Refrigerators allowed for longer food storage and safer consumption of fresh products.
Factories
The increase in economy and demand for products
created jobs for women and the average American in factories.

Cameras
In the 1920's cameras became metal bodied instead of wood. Hand held Cameras that inexperienced photographers could use were developed. Shorter film cameras were designed for lighter weight and more versatility.
