Noble Gases

Why are these elements grouped together
Noble gases are the far right step of the stairs known as group 18
Three Unique facts about Noble Gases
Helium, neon, argon, krypton, xenon, and radon make up the noble gases, because they have low reactivity due to their outer electron shells being complete
- as noble gases show extremely low chemical reactivity, while they are not inert only a few hundred noble gas compounds have been formed to date with xenon varieties making up the bulk
- The most obvious and visible of these are illuminated signs, light bulbs and lamps, with xenon, Argon and neon commonly used due to their lack of chemical reactivity
- noble gases are colorless and odorless anatomic gas with very low chemical reactivity
Noble gases are also known as inert gases
- Helium
- Neon
- Argon
- Krypton
- Xenon
- Radon
