Biff Loman Timeline

1917

His brother Happy was Born just two years after him.

Biff finds a suicide letter from his father inside of the glovebox of his car

It said "I payed your teacher in high school to fail you so you did not leave me"

Biff was even more destroyed and decided to become a salesmen

He became very sucessful and greedy with his money since he was neglected by his father

Biff moves to Texas to live on a farm to raise cattle

That night Biff shouts at Willy who sped off in his car, Biff then heard a crash.Willy Loman was dead.

Biff tells his father he is no longer going to pretend to please him and begins to cry.

Biff has several jobs one of which is for Oliver, again there is a stealing incident. This soon puts him without a job.

At the funeral Biff realizes happiness is better than wealth and he would never turn out like his father

Biff is destroyed and gives up on all his dreams of going to the University of Virginia

When he fails math he is unable to graduate. Biff decides to visit his father and he finds him cheating on his mother

Biff still believes he is invincible but, he is failing math in his Senior year of High School

He steals a football and his father is okay with it.

Biff obtains an athletic scholarship to the University of Virginia

In high school Biff was good at football and it drove him to believe that he would be even more sucessful

At the age of seven the family moves to a new home

Biff Loman was born in the city of New York to Willy and Linda Loman.

Biff meets his childhood friend Bernard

Uncle Ben, Willy's Brother visits the family and tells Biff "When I was seventeen I walked into the jungle. When I walked out I was rich"

After his Uncle told him this. BIff expected everything to be handed to him
