- It lived in the early part of the Jurassic period around 200 million years ago.
- It got its name in 1861.
- It could be from 10 to 13 feet long.
- The Scelidosarus could also weigh from 500 pounds to 600 pounds.
- Another thing about it is that it was a herbivore meaning it only eats plants.
