Geopolitics is a study of interest which focuses on factors such as; geography, economics, and demography of policy and foreign policy of a state, country or region. Therefore geopolitical conflicts focus on disagreements and rivalries pertaining to such factors. Iraq as a country has been in a constant state of crisis and conflict since 1979. These conflicts have taken various forms and levels of seriousness. Disputes arising from political, economic, environmental, and social/cultural influences.

The geopolitical conflicts of Iraq are ever-present today due to extreme dis-agreements in various forms. Conflicts, disputes, and violence will evidently continue on for decades more unless the political, economic, social, and cultural state of the country drastically changes. Iraq must discover a civilized manner of solving such disputes that are present rather than leaving them, in-turn creating more conflicts. If such is achieved the countries political, economic, social and cultural state will become obviously stable.
