Her most famous speeches

Two of her most famous speeches are the Prayer Breakfast speech in 1994 (Teresa).

And her Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech in 1979 (Nobel).

Prayer Breakfast

~At the National Prayer Breakfast on February 5, 1994 Mother Teresa was invited to speak (Hamilton).

~She gave a speech about how abortion is an evil act of killing an unborn, innocent baby.

~"The greatest destroyer of peace is abortion because if a mother can kill her own child, what is left for me to kill you and you to kill me? There is nothing between" (George).

~She told people that she would gladly accept any child and take care of him in an adoption home (Hamilton).

Nobel Peace Prize Acceptance

~She said that once she went to go visit a nursing home, and all the residents who lived there would sit and stare at the door waiting for their children to visit them, but they would never come (Teresa).

~She spoke out against abortion and said that is was an evil thing (Teresa).
