Samurai
Serfs
- Did the most physical labor in a Manor.
- Mostly worked in fields and shops as a blacksmith or merchant.
- Were at the bottom of the Feudal System.
- Had a very important role because they provided the food for the Manor.
Nobles
- Were basically the government of a Manor.
- Dealt with the laws of the Manor.
- They liked to hunt and inspect the land of the Manor.
- Jugglers, Jesters, Acrobats, etc. were used to entertain the Nobles.

Knights
The Lord
- Owner of the manor
- Controlled what others that lived in the Manor did.
- Was described as a Vassal or Liege.
- Was a subservient to a Noble or a King.
- Was the Kings immediate superior.
- Usually owned 1200-800 acres.
- Lived in a very big house, not a castle.
- Knights served the lord.
- They gave the a oath that they will give there life for the lord.
- Knights fought battles for the lord.
