Our multimedia campaign is a niche in today's society because there are no other organizations raising awareness for specifically marijuana usage. This sets our campaign apart from others, therefore keeping an interested audience.

We plan to brand our campaign by using a logo that will hopefully stay present in the minds of our target audience.

This campaign can help our society in many ways. For example, marijuana use has been associated with turning teens into mental zombies who lose all motivation towards anything. This campaign discourages the use of marijuana, therefore contributing more motivated and academically inclined teenagers who will grow up to potentially create great things for the future.

Advantages

Because our campaign reaches to wide variety of teens, and we're doing so by popular social methods (twitter, youtube etc.), it is easy for our company to have an active target audience who we can constantly stay involved with to keep the interest level up.

Our goal is to educate and raise awareness for teens on the usage of Marijuana. We want to highlight all the dangers using this drug can cause, and elaborate on the long-term effects of using a gateway drug like marijuana.

Goals

The target audience for our campaign is teenagers between the ages of 13 and 19 who live in North America. We plan to reach them via social media sites such as Twitter, Youtube and Tumblr. We will also use certain media texts to such as the newspaper.

Disadvantages

Because the usage of marijuana in today's youth is already quite popular, it will be hard to discourage our target audience. However we have come up with many different tactics to use throughout our campaign such as fear, and humor.
