People were light clothes because it is fresher than dark colors, and they were eough

cloth to protect them from the sun.

Sahara Population

Location of the Sahara Desert:

The Sahara is home of only 2million people!!! While USA is home 3million people and it is the same land area.

Type of Plants in the Sahara Desert:

The Sahara Desert is located in the north Africa. It covers 10% of Africa its borders are the Mediterranean sea

to the north,the Atlantic

ocean to the west, and

the Read sea to the est.

The Sahara has lack of plants life. One of the reasons is the soil. The soil can only suport some plants, some of the plants that survive are:

Concentrations of grasses, hrubs, trees naer the oases and

the wadis.Some wood plants are the cypress,olive, and mastic trees. Also you can find the Acacia, Artemisia, doum plant,olender, date palm, abd thyme.

How are winters and summers?

Some arid places have winter and summer because there is a little change of temperature, but in some places is the same temperature all year long. This change depends on the latitude and surrounding climates.

climate. The arid places are found in the 30 degease latidude north and south of the equator. Also places located in the rain shadow or in the center of continents have arid climate.

People in arid places do agricolture for living.

Type of animals in the Sahara Desert:

Gerbil, Jerboa, Cape Hare, Sand Fox,Sleder Mongoose etc. In the few lakesand rivers leave frogs, algae,and brine shrimp. In the rocks and sand doonse you can find lizards,camaleins,skinks,and cobras.Only few animals can survive because of its land scape and climare.

Influence in Climate

-The Sahara temperature is 30 degrease but it can reach up to the 47 degrease.

-It only recive 5in of rain per year!!!

Because of its location, which is near the equater. Also there isn't a lot of water sources or precipitation .
